Hau Dong Song takes the Hầu Đồng spirit possession ceremony, a central practice of the Mother Goddess religion, and rebuilds it as a video hologram inside a structure of glass, metal and light.

The medium of the ceremony becomes an apparition produced by a projector. What is normally a physical, collective and very loud event is reduced to a floating figure that the viewer has to walk around in order to see.
